Welcome to Boring Boat Custom Woodworking! The terms “we,” “us,” “our,” and “Boring Boat Custom Woodworking” refer to Boring Boat Custom Woodworking. We operate this website and online store (collectively, the “Services”), which are powered by Shopify.

SECTION 1 – NATURAL VARIATION IN WOOD & PRODUCT IMAGES

All of our products are handcrafted from natural solid wood. Wood is a natural material with unique grain patterns, color variations, knots, and other naturally occurring characteristics. No two pieces of wood are identical. Photographs on our website are representative only and are intended to show general appearance, design, and craftsmanship. The item you receive will not match the website images exactly in grain pattern, color tone, or minor natural markings. These natural variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for return, refund, or replacement unless the item exhibits a structural defect caused by our workmanship.

SECTION 2 – CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF WOOD PRODUCTS

Proper care and ongoing maintenance are essential to the longevity, appearance, and performance of any wooden item. We provide recommended care instructions on our website and/or with each order. However, it is solely the customer’s responsibility to properly clean, condition, protect, and maintain the product in accordance with industry-standard practices for fine wood goods. Failure to do so may result in cracking, warping, discoloration, or other damage that is not covered under any warranty or return policy.

SECTION 3 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

SECTION 4 – OUR PRODUCTS

We strive to display our products as accurately as possible; however, we do not warrant that product images, descriptions, or specifications will be exact due to the natural variation of wood (as described above) and differences in device displays. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time without notice and to limit quantities or refuse any order.

SECTION 5 – ORDERS

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order in our sole discretion. An order is not accepted until we confirm shipment or otherwise expressly accept it. All purchases are subject to our Return Policy [LINK].

Prices are subject to change without notice. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, shipping, and any additional fees.

SECTION 7 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

All shipping dates are estimates only. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon transfer to the carrier. We are not liable for delays, loss, or damage during shipping.

SECTION 16 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BORING BOAT CUSTOM WOODWORKING, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS; (B) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF OUR SERVERS; OR (C) ANY FAILURE TO PROPERLY CARE FOR OR MAINTAIN PRODUCTS. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
